Standing on the edge by Stefania Antola Back to browse title
The angry sea seeks help
my eyes give free caresses
but the uptide lion
eats them without hunger
just swallows them
without a word

A hurt wild boar
got into a painful trap
he's full of wrath
rage against himself
as he couldn't escape
Now all he wants
is to be far from everyone
and sheltered
No nurturing hand
would give him comfort
A whirlwind in his mind
No reasons
Sorry for himself

I see you from a further rock
peril coming and threatening
You are a peril to yourself
You hurt yourself
My heart bleeds for you
angry lion
bête blessé
