New authors are most welcome.
It's not too easy to find contemporary poetry on the World Wide Web as good as that published by, say, Rialto, London Magazine, Ambit, Thumbscrew, Strand, or Staple.
Poets (critics, essayists and short story writers, too) are invited to help remedy this wasteful and dreary deficiency which, we hope, is temporary because committed poets are either not alerted to the Web or, more likely, don't have easy access to it. But, see our Clints section which gives details of some decent poetry sites.
Please complete the form below with up to four of your poems, essays, stories or critiques, published or unpublished, of not more than about 30 lines each (or a few pages for prose). If they've been published, please give details: if they're accepted these will be included. Works sent by post are not acceptable because it means the editors then have to type them up on their word processors.
No money is available!
You will, however, get a grateful acknowledgement by email. All accepted works will be published within a month.
Poems in any style and on any subject are welcome, but here's a tip! If you managed a good score in the Poetry Humus Quiz you will be more likely to have your poems accepted, simply because we've shared some poetic nutrients.
